Polish President Karol Nawrocki is set to engage in pivotal talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in the United States. Security concerns are anticipated to be a central theme of their discussions on the sidelines of the international event.
In addition to his meeting with Erdoğan, President Nawrocki has a busy schedule that includes discussions with the leaders of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. These talks are expected to heavily focus on regional security issues, reflecting ongoing concerns in Eastern Europe and beyond.
While in the United States, Nawrocki will also participate in the General Debate of the UN General Assembly. His itinerary includes meetings with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and UN General Assembly President Chalilur Rahman, as well as the chairperson of the African Union, highlighting Poland’s engagement in international diplomacy.
The visit by President Nawrocki and First Lady Marta Nawrocka also included a solemn tribute to the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, underscoring the enduring impact of that event on global security and international relations.
