Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stated that Türkiye will not allow Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to plunge the region into greater disaster. Following a cabinet meeting in Ankara, Erdoğan told reporters that Türkiye is taking all necessary steps to stop the atrocities in Gaza and ensure a continuous flow of humanitarian aid.
Erdoğan emphasized that Türkiye has mobilized all its state resources and diplomatic capabilities to counter what he called the “barbarity and oppression” of Israel. He stressed that both the government and the Turkish people are committed to supporting Gaza.
